Meet Rosie!
Rosie is a primary autistic support para professional by day and a behavior therapist by night. She works round the clock helping children! Literally! She is also a single mother. Rosie has led small group and one-on-one instructional groups, designed and implemented lesson plans, assisted in determining appropriate, individualized IEP goals, structured classroom and home situations to accommodate student needs, collected data, guided students through their everyday routines, and accompanied them to special-area subjects, recess, lunch and out in the community to facilitate relationships outside of the family. She possesses the special education credentials of competency for para-educators, non violent crisis intervention, para-educator certification, and a number of aba trainings also. She has an Associate’s Degree.
