Meet Amy!
Amy is a Master of Education and Applied Behavior Analysis.
She also possesses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education, and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
She has helped conduct functional behavioral assessments, individualized positive behavior support plans, provided weekly consultation to special education teachers, monitored student progress through data collection methods, and co-developed and facilitated many trainings and presentations. Prior to her work in schools as an educational service provider, she directly observed therapists in the home setting to evaluate and monitor treatment integrity and accuracy of data collection. She had also provided ongoing training and feedback to therapists in the areas of verbal behavior, socialization, activities of daily living, behavior, mathematics, and reading, analyzed trends and patterns in data and made adjustments to interventions as appropriate, and collaborated with clients’ family members, home therapists, and school teachers via team meetings. She has also assisted at the university level.
