Meet Charlene!
Charlene is a certified elementary, special education, and early childhood teacher. She is lively and energetic with the ability to facilitate student learning in a creative, authentic, and content-based way. She has experience with lesson planning, balanced literacy programming, reading development, classroom management and discipline, small group instruction, one-on-one instruction, whole group instruction, and special services delivered via IEPs. She is able to successfully establish relationships with students, teachers, and other team members, implement full instruction across subject areas, facilitate learning by differentiating instruction to ensure quality of learning for each individual student, and help develop and implement IEPs for students with special needs. Prior to her work in Ed, she was a nanny/ childcare provider for 2 young children.
