Meet Ayanna!
Ayanna has a B.A. from Temple University in Sociology with a minor in Education. She has Masters’ in Business Administration/ Global Management and Education/ Educational Management. She also holds post-graduate certificates in Human Resources Management and Applied Behavior Analysis. Her relevant coursework includes basic principles in behavior analysis, behavior analysis and consultation, theories of teaching, contemporary issues in education, educational assessment, educational administration, designing mandated curricula, applied behavior analysis, behavioral development, and clinical behavioral analysis. She has experience providing positive programs for middle school girls in low-income communities in North Philadelphia, educating family and participants on behavioral health issues and interventions, redirecting and maintaining socially acceptable behavior, providing a safe environment for children, and emphasizing the importance of education and encouraging higher education as a career path. She has also helped use sports as a vehicle for developing leadership skills, discipline, self-esteem and teamwork. Prior to this important work, she served as a therapeutic staff support, director and executive director as well as extern coordinator for several different universities. Her specialities include at-risk youth and career planning services.
