Meet Charlotte!
Charlotte is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell online certificate program in Behavioral Intervention in Autism. She also has a Master’s of Education in Special Education and a Behavior Management Specialist Certification. In addition, Charlotte has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
Charlotte has worked 1:1 with a child in the Philadelphia area as a satellite consultant, consulting with the family on ABA strategies and collecting data to demonstrate whether statistically significant changes and trends in behaviors and abilities in children with limited communication skills were occurring. She also consults with the supervising BCBA. Charlotte has also worked in a variety of home programs as a therapist. Prior to working with children, she was a manager for Residential Adult Services, conducting documentation checks and training new staff on procedural issues. She also provided appropriate disciplinary procedures as needed. She was a unit manager also and a group home supervisor for a team of 7 staff members. She was responsible for holding interdisciplinary team meetings, writing, monitoring, and implementing residential services and behavior plans, monitoring daily medications, monitoring schedules, and finances/ budgets.
