Meet Alex Crigler, B.S., M.Ed., BCBA Candidate
While volunteering at Special Olympics for swimming during her high school and college years, Alex found her passion. Pursuing her passion, Alex graduated from Kutztown University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in #Psychology. Upon graduation, Alex began working as a #TSS. Alex was a part of the International Institute for Behavioral Development’s Research Task Force. She assisted in designing a #research experiment based on teaching #adult daily living skills (#ADLs) to young adults utilizing #video modeling. Alex assisted in presenting the research at the Ninth Annual ABAI Autism Conference. The article was later published in Behavior Analysis in Practice. While working as a TSS and assisting in #research, she decided to further pursue her career. In 2015, she graduated from Arizona State University with a #Master’s of Education Degree in #Curriculum and #Instruction in #Applied Behavior Analysis. Alex continued to work for #IIBD and #EdD as a #PCA. Currently, she is providing services as a #BSC and #PCA for the #Behavior Support Services Division of EdD. She loves working with all of her #students and #families, and we are very grateful to have her as part of our team!
