Meet Stephanie!

Stephanie Hricak has been working with #children since she was old enough to hold a job. While working at summer camps during her summers in college, Stephanie observed #therapists coming into camp to provide #services to #students throughout the day. While studying #Elementary #Education at the time, Stephanie soon changed her major her sophomore year. She began studying #Rehabilitation and #Human #Services, with a minor in #Special #Education, at Penn State University. Stephanie hoped upon graduation, in May of 2015, that she would begin working as an #ABA #Therapist; providing #therapy to students in #home and #school settings. After graduating, Stephanie worked as a #TSS, and #ABA #therapist. She then began working with the Pennridge School District as a 1:1. Stephanie’s experience with children with #disabilities (including #autism) started at a young age, as she assisted with the #autistic #support #classroom while in elementary school, also volunteering for the #Special Olympics held at North Penn each year in high school. Stephanie began working as a #companion and #habilitation worker in the winter of 2015. She has been working with a woman with #Down Syndrome since. Stephanie found a calling in the #special education field and has since continued pursuing this within our Behavior Support Services Division of EdD. Stephanie now also works as an Autistic Support Teaching Assistant at North Penn High School, while practicing as a provider with us. Stephanie thoroughly enjoys working with her students and clients, and we are so grateful she is a part of our team!
