Hello!
I am seeking participants for a study examining parenting and child adjustment. This study should take no longer than 20 minutes of your time to complete.
In order to participate in the study, you must be age 18 or older and the biological or adoptive mother or father of a child in grades Kindergarten through fifth grade. You must be married and/or living with a partner and the child being reported upon.
You may not participate in the study if you and/or your child being reported upon have a chronic health condition or developmental delay.
Your responses will be used solely for the purpose of research to complete a doctoral dissertation. All data will be collected anonymously and will be saved on a password-protected computer. This study has been approved by the Ball State University IRB (IRB protocol # 868368-1).
If you decide to participate in and complete the study, you will have the opportunity to enter a raffle to win one of ten $20 Amazon.com gift cards. Should you decide to enter the raffle, you will be asked to provide an email address at the completion of the study and will be contacted by the researcher if your email address is selected. Your e-mail address will not be connected with the data you provide and will be stored in a separate password-protected document on the researcher’s password-protected computer. At the completion of the study and after the raffle is completed, this file will be destroyed.
